Cozy Camping Club

Cozy Camping Club launched in spring 2025 and is back better than ever for 2026 for people living in Western Washington!

What is Cozy Camping Club?

Cozy Camping Club is a community for folks to gather together in the outdoors in a very unstructured, accessible, and low-pressure way! We'll get together somewhere in the outdoors (a park, a campground, etc.), hang out, do our own things (craft, read, cook, yap), and just enjoy being in community in the great outdoors. These will be daytime meetups, not overnight camping trips to start.

Where does Cozy Camping Club meet?

All meetups will happen within 3 hours of Seattle! Only Patreon members will know the date, time, location, and other details for each meetup.

Who is Cozy Camping Club for?

This is for anybody and everybody 18+ who has ever felt like they don't belong in the outdoorsy community.

So often, the only way to get involved in the outdoor community is by doing some high-intensity activity like hiking, climbing, biking, backpacking, etc. Those are all great activities, but they're not everyone's cup of tea all of the time.

This is also a community designed for people who exist in historically marginalized identities who have been purposely excluded from the outdoor industry (LGBTQ+, BIPOC, disabled, plus-size, and more).

How do I join Cozy Camping Club?

You must join the Outdoorsy Patreon at a tier of $5/month or higher to gain access. After that, you will receive updates via email, Patreon, and the Discord server.

What does Cozy Camping Club cost?

All daytime meetups will be free! Overnight trips will potentially cost an additional small fee (TBD). You must attend at least one meetup before you are approved to attend an overnight.

Why is Cozy Camping Club only open to Patreon subscribers?

Safety is my NUMBER ONE priority. Meetups will be open to Patreon subscribers only because we don't want scary people knowing when and where a group of people (mostly women, femmes, disabled folks, queers, etc.) are hanging out in the woods. It also allows these meetups to remain free to attend! I am putting my time and energy into this club, and as much as I wish I could donate that, I am not at a place right now where that's an option.

I have some more questions, who do I ask?
